  • Serena Kurtz, D.C., C.F.M.P.

    Dr. Kurtz graduated from Temple University and continued on to earn her doctorate degree from Life University in 1996. She has post graduate training in pregnancy, pediatrics and extremity adjusting and is a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner.

  • Clayton Hollinger, D.C.

    Dr. Hollinger was born and raised in Long Island, New York. He received his doctorate degree from New York Chiropractic College in 1996, which was followed by work in private as well as group practices for several years.

  • David Eisenberg, D.C.

    Dr. Eisenberg graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic and completed a 3-year postgraduate program in Chiropractic Orthopedics. He and his family did a 3-year Christian service stint in Bosnia. He is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, PA Chiropractic Association, and Christian Chiropractic Association. 

  • David A. Carbo, D.C.,C.C.E.P.,C.K.T.P.
    Dr. Carbo is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic and holds a degree in Nutritional Science from the University of Delaware. Dr. Carbo holds post-graduate certifications as a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner and is a Certified Kinesio Tape Practitioner.

  • Eden Johnson, DPT

    Dr. Johnson was born and raised in Newark, Delaware and graduated from Elon University in 2010 with a degree in exercise science. She earned her physical therapy doctorate degree from Long Island University in Brooklyn NY in 2015 and has experience working with older adults.

  • Leeann Scofield, L.Ac.

    Leeann Scofield, L.Ac. was born and raised on Long Island, NY and received her BA in Psychology at Long Island University. Finding a passion for alternative medicine, she then went on to attend New York College of Health Professions earning a Bachelors in Health Sciences and a Masters in Oriental Medicine as well as The Clinical Excellence Award in 2013. After owning a successful acupuncture practice in NY, she moved to Lancaster County in 2021 and maintains an acupuncture license in both New York and Pennsylvania.

Study: A new analysis finds that the hands-on technique works as well as pain drugs and is safer too

When you wrench your back, your first impulse may be to rummage through the medicine cabinet for an over-the-counter pain drug or even ask your doctor to prescribe a strong opioid painkiller such as Percocet or Vicodin. But an analysis published April 11 in the Journal of the American Medical Association finds that spinal manipulation can ease your backache and get you moving again without the risk of medication side effects. Study: Chiropractic aids muscle recovery, helps prevent fatigue

A New Zealand study found a 60% increase in muscle electrical activity readings and 45% increase in "drive" between the brain and muscle after a full spine chiropractic adjustment session. The findings were published in the journal Experimental Brain Research. PRWire (Australia) (2/23)

Study: DC visit linked to lower risk of injury than PCP visit
Medicare Part B beneficiaries ages 66 to 99 with a neuromusculoskeletal problem were 76% less likely to injure the head, neck or trunk within seven days of a visit to a DC compared with a visit to a primary care physician, according to a study in the journal Spine. PhysiciansBriefing.com (2/17)

Chiropractic services can extend and improve activity levels for seniors
Back pain can keep some seniors from remaining active and maintaining "activities of daily living." Study: Back-related leg pain improved with chiropractic therapy

A study in the Annals of Internal Medicine found that patients suffering from back-related leg pain experienced more short-term relief when they received chiropractic services in addition to exercise and advice, than with exercise and advice alone. "This combination resulted in advantages in pain reduction, disability, global improvement, satisfaction, medication use and general physical health status after 12 weeks,” said study leader Gert Bronfort. Patients who received chiropractic therapy were still doing better than the other group nine months after treatment.Reuters (9/15)
