Congratulations! By deciding to pursue chiropractic care, you are taking an exciting first step toward better health. Here’s what to expect on your first visit…
After filling out brief paperwork on your health history, you’ll meet your doctor. He or she will conduct a thorough examination to uncover the possible causes of your health condition. This may include a postural evaluation, spinal examination, orthopedic and neurological tests. X-rays of the spine or related areas may be necessary to determine the cause of your problem. These may be performed here in our office by certified radiological technicians.
In certain special instances, blood tests, urinalysis, CT scan or an MRI may be recommended to help in the diagnosis of a condition. If you already have had xrays, MRI's, bone density scans etc., please bring those items with you to your initial visit.
After the initial exam, we will discuss our conclusions and treatment plan. If we determine you’d benefit from a different specialist, we will refer you there.
Once your health plan is devised, future visits will take only a few quick minutes. We’ll monitor the healing process over time and modify your treatment plan as needed.
Welcome to our office!
